Yes, we want to share our Shark Tank experience and thank Ritesh Agarwal, OYO.
Sep 30, 2023 was a great day for all of us at Pink Woolf. After getting a commitment of Rs. 90L from Ritesh Agarwal, we met him along with our kids (Shaurya Sharma and Sanskriti Sharma). Trust us when we say that he is the most down-to-earth approachable Shark as he immediately made us comfortable and asked our story. The story began sometime in early 2023 as we filled the Shark Tank form and with God’s grace kept going to the next round with the one being the Delhi Audition round. Fabulously organized, large number of participants and we presented too.
Ultimately, the call came through and we packed our bags for Mumbai. The content, logistics, and the support staff at Shark Tank are undoubtedly superb. Our children were there too but at the last minute we were told that the founders would go to the Tank and they had a blast with Rahul Dua watching the proceedings live.
We thank Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, and Vineeta Singh for their feedback and questions that helped clarify a few things for us too. (This part went so fast and our recollection has blurred hence we request Shark Tank to publish or share our episode.) And Ritesh’s offer was graciously accepted.
We applied to Shark Tank for 2 reasons:
1. Share the issue of Men’s Shaving & Skincare that 70% men face but being a man don’t talk about it, and
2. Mentorship/ Funding.
We achieved the 2nd goal of mentorship/ funding however it was a huge disappointment to know that our Shark Tank episode would not be telecast – no reason given despite multiple follow-ups. But being entrepreneurs, we have developed a thick skin and resilience to these setbacks. The next day, we continued striving forward.Experience the Power of Quality with Pink Woolf. This is a testament to multiple customers who have supported us in our journey as they are OUR REAL SHARKS! More to come.
